If you are attempting to bring vitamins into Uganda, do you have a WRITTEN authorization from the Ministry of Health of Uganda to bring it in tax and duty free? In our experience with Kenya and Cameroon, African countries see vitamins as drugs and will charge you according to that no matter if you are a non-profit or not.
Rick, do you have a WRITTEN authorization from the Ugandan Ministry of Health to bring in the vitamins? In general Afrian countries see vitamines as drugs and wil charge you customs and duties. My experience is first hand with Kenya and Cameroon.
