Common Chemistry – Search Chemical Names and CAS Registry Numbers

In a collaboration with Wikipedia, the American Chemical Society has created a new, public database of the most commonly cited compounds. This may be a useful resource for those who are not members of the ACS or who cannot afford the cost of accessing their databases, such as people in developing countries.
